The National Library of Finland provides its customers with advice in many ways. You can contact the information services by email, phone or at the library. Rotunda’s information service point is the primary information service point inside the library.

Information is available from the following four service points:
Rotunda information service point (Rotunda, main building of the library, ground floor)
North Hall information service point (Main building of the library, ground floor)
Slavonic library information service point (Fabiania, the Fabianinkatu wing of the library, 1st floor)
Special Collections Reading Room information service point (Fabiania, the Fabianinkatu wing of the library, 1st floor)
Information service points provide all kinds of advice on how to use the library. You can also leave orders.
At the Rotunda information service point, you can collect and return your interlibrary loans. In addition to online payments, you can make payments at the Rotunda information service point.
Our information service helps you to find information and materials from the National Collection and the fields of humanities represented by the library collections. On commission, we perform information searches on the printed and digital collections of the library as well as other online materials.
You can submit an information retrieval request by email, by phone or on site at the library information service point.
We are also happy to help you to search for information independently. In this case, please book an appointment for information retrieval guidance, and you will get a chance to search for information together with a library expert.
Information search lasting less than half an hour is free. More extensive commissions will be charged according to the valid price list.
