The Digital Open Memory (DOM) project asked about researchers’ experiences of the National Library's digital resources and services in the spring 2020. The survey received a total of 130 responses from respondents in Finnish, Swedish and English. Based on the answers, users are quite satisfied with the digital resources and services. However, the responses also provided plenty of suggestions for improvements in developing digital materials and services. For example, technical development and clarity for the services were desired.

It was also possible to leave one’s contact information for further contacts and interviews. Researchers will be interviewed during the autumn so that they can tell in more detail about their needs for the use of digital resources and their views on co-operation with the National Library. There is still time to contact the Planning Officer for an interview even if you have not answered the questionnaire before.

DOM is funded by European Regional Development Fund Leverage from EU 2014–2020. It is a joint collaboration with National Library and the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk). The project started in the fall of 2019 and last until the end of September 2021.
