Tools for monitoring and text mining of media resources from Russia and other CIS countries
My Integrum is a personalised media monitoring service for people interested in Russia and other countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States. It allows for more sophisticated analyses than Integrum Profi. Researchers and students of universities with licences for Integrum Profi (the Universities of Helsinki, Eastern Finland, Jyväskylä, Tampere and Turku as well as Åbo Akademi University) can contact the library of their university to get a personal username for My Integrum. Please also state in Russian the topics you wish to include in the monitoring, along with related search terms. Once you have received your username, you can log in at https://sso.integrum.ru/Login.aspx.
My Integrum can be accessed until 31 December 2019, and it provides access to the same resources as Integrum Profi. For more information on My Integrum, visit the Integrum website: http://www.integrumworld.com/int_sub.html.
It is also possible to carry out text mining on the Integrum resources. To conduct text mining for the purpose of studies or research, students and researchers from universities holding a licence for Integrum Profi can independently download several thousand news articles’ worth of data from Integrum Profi or My Integrum. A separate agreement with Integrum is required if you wish to download larger quantities of articles – e.g., hundreds of thousands. In such cases, please contact the Slavonic Library.
While the features described above are only available to a restricted number of individuals, all library customers can access the media resource portal Integrum Profi at the National Library or at Helsinki University Library locations.
