LIBER 2016 is all about discussing how research libraries can open up paths to knowledge for researchers across the disciplines. For LIBER 2016 we have invited leading voices in the areas of open data, digital tools and scholarship, and national and international research and open science policy, to share their expertise and lessons learned from working at the cutting edge of their fields. Our keynote speakers include: Mia Ridge, Peter Leonard, Barbara J. Ryan, Ralf Schimmer and Riitta Maijala. The final programme will be published at the end of March.

Organizing the 45th LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries) conference is a joint effort of the National Library of Finland, Helsinki University Library and the Finnish Research Library Association.

LIBER president, Kristiina Hormia-Poutanen from the National Library of Finland welcomes in behalf of the organizers all colleagues to the conference!
