Paperless email delivery of National Repository Library articles

Due to copyright restrictions, articles ordered by the National Library's interlibrary loan service are always delivered to the customer as paper copies. An exception is the delivery of article reprints from the National Repository Library in Kuopio, which can now be sent directly to the customer's email.
To order copies from the National Repository Library:
- Send email to nationallibrary@helsinki.fi or
- Log in to the National Library search service. The National Repository Library material can be found under the National Repository Library (Kuopio) tab. Place the order by clicking the Place the request button and enter the article information in the comments field.
To use the paperless delivery service, you must have a National Library card.
The paperless delivery to customer’s email is a pilot project by the National Repository Library and Kopiosto that started in 2023. In addition to the National Library, five other Finnish libraries take part in the pilot.
