E-books from Italian and Spanish scholarly publishers in test use
Two e-book collections in the humanities and social sciences, EIO – Editoria Italiana Online: Monographs Complete and EEO – Edición Española Online, are available for test use on the University of Helsinki network and the premises of the National Library of Finland from 2 November to 1 December 2020.
The collections include 18,000 books from over 90 Italian and 30 Spanish prestigious scholarly publishers. Most of the books are in Italian or Spanish.
During the test use period, users cannot download the books to their own devices, but can only read them using a browser.

The resource can be accessed through the University of Helsinki network, which means that remote access is available for University of Helsinki researchers, students and staff. For people who are not researchers or students at the University of Helsinki, the resource is accessible from the library terminals in the National Library and the Helsinki University Library facilities without a login, or from the user’s own device at the facilities using the HelsinkiUni Guest visitor network (password: uniguest).
