Electronic resources

The National Library Search can be used to find e-resources licensed by the National Library of Finland as well as the e-resources of Helsinki University Library licensed through the FinELib consortium. In addition, the search service now offers more international, openly available e-books and e-journals from various fields of science.

Electronic resources (books, journals and databases) can be found through the basic search of the National Library Search. Individual articles should be searched for through the international e-materials search tab.

Following a change of library systems, most of the Helka library e-resources are no longer available through the National Library Search. They can be found instead through the Helka search.

Printed resources in Helka libraries

The service outage due to an update of Helka library data has ended. Data on printed resources in Helka libraries are again updated on the Helka tab of the National Library Search.
