Puupäähattu 2022 Award: Harri "Wallu" Vaalio

The exhibition provides an overview of the works of Harri "Wallu" Vaalio, a cartoonist who received the 2022 Puupäähattu Award, from the beginning of his career as an artist. In addition to comics, the exhibition features a diverse selection of his other productions. The exhibition is open in the café of the National Library according to the library's opening hours.

Since 1972 the Finnish Comics Society has annually awarded the Puupäähattu Award to an established Finnish comics artist. The name of the prize refers to the hat of Ola Fogelberg's classic character Pekka Puupää. en mukaan.
