Collection description

The Lithuanian Collection contains the Lithuanian literature printed in the Russian empire between 1828 and1917, which the Library received as legal deposit copies.

Of the 600 volumes of Lithuanian literature, some 400 are monographs, and the rest are newspapers or periodicals. The newspaper volumes are incomplete.

Most of the collection's literature, around 200 publications, was printed in the years 1904–1917.
