The National Collection's Book Collection contains the monograph-type materials intended for distribution to trhe general public received as legal deposit copies since the early-1800s to today.
The collection is divided in two in non-fiction and fiction, which have further been arranged in two time periods: (1) Literature published in 1810–1972 ("old Fennica") and (2) literature published since 1973.
